Non-luminescent nano materials are used in a variety of lighting applications. For example, nano alumina is coated between the glass tube and phosphors in a fluorescent lamp to increase the lighting efficiency, improve the maintenance, and reduce mercury consumption. Nano alumina and silica are also used to form a thin coating on the surface of phosphors for similar purposes including lighting efficiency improvement.
PIDC’s coating materials have the advantages of small particle size, narrow particle size distribution, and high thermal stability over a wide range of temperatures. |
