Pacific Industrial Development Corporation Expands Ann Arbor Operations
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Pacific Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), a global manufacturer of specialty chemicals, today announced the expansion of their Ann Arbor operations with the acquisition of two new buildings.
The company recently completed renovations on an expansion of their corporate headquarters, located next door to PIDC’s current office. The new facility will house the company’s administrative and operations staff, as well as some R&D facilities.
In addition, PIDC recently began renovating a new research center and pilot facility in Ann Arbor. The building will provide PIDC with more than 50,000 square feet of additional research, laboratory, and storage space to support the company’s production facilities in Ann Arbor and Spartanburg, S.C, helping grow its manufacturing base in the U.S.
“We are dedicated to innovating and developing specialty materials,” said Wei Wu, President and Chief Executive Officer at PIDC. “The additional space provided by these new buildings will help us continue these efforts and fuel our growth for years to come.”
