PIDC offers an extensive portfolio of precipitated alumina (Alumax®) products with a capacity of thousands of metric tons per year in the boehmite, pseudoboehmite, gamma, delta, theta, or alpha phase.
The Alumax® product line differentiates itself from other precipitated aluminas with its superior purity control.
PIDC’s proprietary alumina production processes afford PIDC the flexibility to customize surface area, porosity, density, and particle size, giving our customers enhanced performance in their product’s applications.
PIDC’s Alumax® product line also includes a series of promoted products for a variety of functions including thermal stabilization of the structure, and acidity of the alumina surface. Some of the promoters include lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, silicon, titanium, zirconium and barium. The promotion can be a single element or multiple elements and is achieved via impregnation, drying, or co-precipitation.
