PIDC Opens Advanced Battery Materials Lab
ANN ARBOR, Mich., November 10, 2021 – Pacific Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) is excited to announce the opening of a new advanced battery materials laboratory in Ann Arbor.
The state-of-the-art lab, located in the company’s newly renovated building in Ann Arbor expands upon PIDC’s development and testing capabilities, allowing the company to go from powder synthesis, to coin and pouch cell fabrication, as well as electrochemical testing.
“This new lab gives us the ability to test our materials in their end-use applications,” said Jeff Lachapelle, VP of Sales and Marketing at PIDC. “This allows us to better understand how we can continue to improve them to better meet the needs of the energy storage market.”
